what to wear; spring

spring is one of the more complicated seasons; there are cold, dark days, and warm, sunny days. today was one of those brighter days, but unfortunately i had to spend it stuck instead my stuffy school building. i've picked out some key items for the warm days, and the more dull days.


look 1: keep snug in this cosy outfit for those ultra-cold days.

this dark pink tee is only £15 from Topshop and goes perfectly with these pink jeans.


they are also from Topshop, and come in at £40, but I think these are great jeans and will brighten up any boring look!














these chocolate-brown brogues are the perfectly subtle choice to pair with the pinks worn on the main body. wear these over some thick socks for extra warmth. also from Topshop for £52.










this (quite blurry) tan jacket is a great accompaniment to the 
brogues, as the browns aren't too much different from the pinks and they go really well. this jacket is a bit more expensive at £150 from Next, and you can view it a bit better here.


















look 2: summery style for the hot spring days.


                             

everyone needs a striped top this spring and summer, as stripes are a huge trend again this year. this one, from New Look, is only £9 and will go with almost anything, especially these shorts!




these high-waisted shorts would look great with this stripy tee tucked into them. wear with opaque tights for summer and blacks tights for spring. £16.99 from New Look.












these cute bow detail navy pumps are simple yet stylish, and perfect for this outfit as they are the same sort of colour as the shorts and the stripes on the tee. these are £16 from Miss Selfridge.
